SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - FULL TIME, LONDON

We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Technology department for a Senior Project Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, strong communicator to join END. – the leading global online destination for contemporary men and womenswear, as a Project Manager. 

What you’ll be doing: 

Key responsibilities 

  • Deliver on time, on cost, projects of the highest quality through effective planning and documentation.
  • Work closely with site-based Technology teams and London-based Technology teams to ensure common goals are understood and delivered.
  • Manage the delivery of a wide range of projects incl. projects that have multiple workstreams and multiple suppliers.
  • Business expectations converted into signed-off requirements and that all projects are properly resourced by the business.
  • Excellent communication, including animating Steering Groups with key senior stakeholders via formal communications and informal networking.
  • Vendor Selection and Contracts Preparation.
  • Work closely with the vendor partners to ensure alignment on delivery plans and project.
  • Integration of new applications into the existing application landscape.
  • Anticipate, identify, and contain risks and work creatively with the teams to overcome issues.
  • Coordinating testing and training completed by key users who will provide on-going business support.
  • Manage the supplier relationship for project and business-as-usual activities, ensuring excellence in processes including escalation of support calls within the external and internal IT teams.

What you’ll be able to demonstrate: 

Skills and experience 

  • Experience of full end-to-end lifecycle delivery in an ecommerce environment.
  • An understanding of customer facing international eCommerce Supply Chains.
  • Experience of working with both internal and external development teams.
  • Experience in a matrix management environment delivering with limited or no line management responsibility.
  • Financial/budget management experience incl. challenging external suppliers to gain value for money.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong governance skills to deliver a portfolio of change.
  • Strong organisational skills as there will be a need to manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail to develop project plans, managing the inter-dependencies & critical path .
  • Problem solving skills & the ability to work collaboratively are key in order to find solutions for complex challenges that arise.
